It's a Wonderful Life for Kids!

It's a Wonderful Life for Kids! by Jimmy Hawkins, 2006.

Did you know there was this picture book written by the character of Tommy Bailey, the youngest child of George and Mary Bailey? He authored this book for the movie's 60th Anniversary, and it's told from his character, Tommy Bailey's perspective.

In this story, Tommy runs away from home. God sends down his angel Arthur to help the family this time. In the original movie, Clarence came down from heaven to help George Bailey, Tommy's father.

Tommy lost money for the school's library fund and didn't know where it was. He then wishes he had never been born. His story is very similar to his father's story in the movie.

Although this book is not very original, it's a little comical after having seen the movie more than 20 times. You can really pick out the similarities. If you're a fan of the movie, I would suggest just checking it out of the library around the holidays.
