How Many Teeth?

How Many Teeth? by Paul Showers is a Stage 1 Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science Book. Stage 1 is geared more towards older preschool-kindergarten age children. Stage 2 is better for K-2 as a frame of reference.

"This is Sam's father. He is bigger than Sam and he has more teeth. He has thirty-two teeth. He has sixteen upper teeth and sixteen lower teeth...
"Out go the old teeth; in come the new. Sam needs bigger teeth to bite with and chew. Sam is growing up. He is getting his grown-up teeth. He will have them for a long, long time."
Read this with your preschoolers before or after taking them to the dentist to get them excited about their teeth and taking care of them.
