Wonderful Color Book Series!

Winter White by Christianne C. Jones, 2008 is a part of the Know Your Colors Series.

Winter is one of the best things I can think of to help teach children about the beauty of the color white.  Solely devoted to the color white, this picture book can help your child learn about this stark color as well as appreciate the fun of a snowy winter season!

“The color WHITE can be fluffy and cold. A snowy wonderland is a sight to behold. Sparkling WHITE snowflakes cover the ground. A sleeping WHITE owl won’t make a sound. Bright WHITE clouds stretch long and wide. A cozy WHITE igloo is a fun place to hide. A chubby WHITE snowman wears a black hat. Sticky WHITE snowballs fly fast and go SPLAT! WHITE figure skates glide on the rink. Tasty WHITE cream tops a warm drink. It’s time to go in. The air has a chill. You can look for more WHITE from the windowsill!

Brown at the Zoo by Christianne C. Jones, 2008

“The color BROWN lives in the zoo with lions, bears, and a monkey or two. Fuzzy BROWN bears snooze in a cave. Funny BROWN monkeys refuse to behave…A lazy BROWN camel has one big hump. A graceful BROWN eagle flies to its nest.”
