Follow the Water from Brook to Ocean

"Follow the Water from Brook to Ocean" by Arthur Dorros is a Level 2 Let's Read-and-Find-Out
Science book.

Where does water come from? Where does it go? What's the difference between a brook, a stream and a river?
"The river meets the ocean at the river's mouth. The water is still flowing downhill, although it moves very slowly now. It moves so slowly that it cannot carry its load of soil and rock anymore. It drops the soil and rock at the mouth of a river. This can form a delta."

This picture book answers simplistically answers these questions and explains that water flows downhill and eventually ends at the ocean.
